This was a must see for all who grew up reading the comics. It was on que with the comic books and I was very impressed they keep it so close to what I rememeber as a child. I'm hoping now though that they come out with a second soon.

The movie was just not able to draw me in. I was constantly aware that I was watching a big budget CG movie. Lead actor was really very good, but there was little to no character development of any other character.

Movie is short, 1 hour 48 minutes, they should have used more time in developing the green lantern concept and explaining what that was all about. Not a bad movie but not up to the standards of X-men and even thor.

Took my 10 year old son to see this movie on opening night. He thoroughly enjoyed it. It was action packed and the special effects were "out of this world" for him. He already wants the DVD! For me it was ok as far as tjje SuperHero type movie. Never heard of the Green Lantern prior to this.

Slow start. Lots of information to set up the story so there was less time for all the cool fight scenes. However, it was worth the wait.
